Safety Policies & Courtesies

VacationLand is privately owned and operated. The following policies are for the safety and enjoyment of all guests. Management reserves the right to evict any person not adhering.

Registration • Guests

Only one recreational vehicle or tent permitted per site unless approved by Management.

For the safety of our guests, a 10MPH speed limit is enforced in the park. Only 1 warning will be given and then you will be asked to leave the park. No refunds will be given if asked to leave due to failure to follow rules.

All cars must display a car tag. All guests within the vehicle must register at the Front Office.

Registration of all guests and visitors is required upon entering the campground.

Management assumes no responsibility for safety of guests and reserves the right to remove for infraction of rules. A $50.00 fine may be imposed for any rule infractions. There will be NO refunds if removed at any time before your check out dates.

To assure enjoyment by other guests who follow you, we ask your cooperation in keeping the restroom facilities and your lot as clean as you find them.

Check-in/Check-Out Times: Campsite: Campsites Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 12:00 pm. There are early check-in and/or late check out fees on campsites, pending availability.
Cabins Check-In is 3:00 pm, Check-Out is 11:00 am. We do not have early check-in/ late check out for our rentals. Currently all our rentals are smoke free. Check-Ins are expected during normal Store/Office Hours. After Hour Check-Ins require advance arrangements. There will be a $100 fee attached to your reservation if proof is found of smoking ANY Tobacco Products in any of our facilities. No Vaping either. Check-Ins are expected during normal Store/Office Hours due to our Security Gate. After Hour Check-Ins require advance arrangements. Please call 814-573-7085 for late check-ins and/or emergencies.

Campsite Reservations: Upon my signature/reservation/stay I agree: to pay all charges resulting from my stay. These fees may include but are not limited to visitor (s), damages, equipment rental, early departure, late departure, and store purchases. I am responsible for all charges made by myself, my family and my guests.

Campsite Reservation Policy: RV & Tent Campsite Reservation Policy: We will charge a deposit to your credit card when processing your campsite reservation. Holidays require a three-night minimum stay, one-night stay deposit at the time of reservation. All Weekends are a two night minimum stay. They require the first night fee as the deposit at the time of the reservation (Non-refundable). Reservations must be paid in full 48 hours prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy: We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine!
Nightly/Weekly Stays: For all stays shorter than 30 nights, no refunds are given on or after arrival.
Cancellations made for Special Event Weekends (Christmas in July, Halloween 1 and 2, Camp for Cure, Solar Eclipse, Spooky Fall Harvest Festivals, or Holiday weekends, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and 4th of July at least 15 days in advance will be refunded in the form that was used for the payment less a $ 25 Admin Fee, unless otherwise stipulated at the time of booking. Deposit of one night will be forfeited for all reservations canceled less than 14 days prior to your arrival date for the Special Event Weekends and Holidays. On the day of arrival and the reservation is canceled there will be no refund and the reservation will be charged in full. You can change any reservation instead of canceling it to another date in the same season for a small fee of $ 15.00.
For all reservations made and canceled before 8 days of arrival date will be refunded on the same payment method that was used when booking less a $ 25 Admin Fee. All reservations canceled within 7 days of the arrival date will have a one night fee charged for cancellation. You may change your reservation instead of canceling it to another date in the same season for a small fee of $ 15.00.
Monthly Stays: For all stays of 30 nights or longer, no refunds will be given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 45 days in advance will be refunded in the form that was used for payment. Deposits will be forfeited for all reservations canceled less than 45 days prior to your arrival date. Other Bookings/ Group Rentals: No refunds will be given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 45 days in advance will be refunded in the form that was used for payment. Deposits will be forfeited for all reservations canceled less than 45 days prior to your arrival date.

Refund Policy: After a refund has been approved, please expect the refund to be processed to your bank account within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be given in the form that was originally used for payment. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the campground at 724-253-4645 This depends on your financial institution.

We now have certain rental cabins that are pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee. There will be a $ 200 fee placed on your reservation if a pet is brought into any of our NON pet friendly rentals. Management reserves the right to inspect our rental units at any time. Our Pet Friendly Rentals are clearly marked with Pet Paws at your reservation time. No exceptions.

Change Policy:Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside of the respective cancellation window (2+ weeks) will result in a one-time courtesy change and every change made thereafter will be charged a $15 service fee.
Changes made to decrease occupancy or pets resulting in a credit owed will result in the issuance of a camp credit. Camp credit will remain active on the user account and will expire one year from issuance.
Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.
Camp Credit can only be redeemed in the same calendar year as the canceled reservation and can only be applied toward your site or cabin/lodge rental. For reservations paid with a credit card, cash refunds will be credited to the credit card on file with respect to reservation.

Children • Teens

An adult (18 years+) must supervise children under 12 years old at all times while in the pool area. There will be 1 warning given to unruly children or adults and then will be asked to leave the pool for the day and even the entire stay. We DO NOT have LifeGuards. We have Pool Hosts to assist in rules being followed and to call for emergency assistance, if any accidents occur. Smoking and Vaping is NOT allowed in our pool areas. No drinking in glass or open cans of Alcoholic Beverages at the pool. All beverages must be in Koozies or Plastic cups.

An adult (18 years+) must supervise children at all dances.

Teen curfew (under 18 years) begins at Dusk. No Exceptions. After Dusk up to 18 years of age must be accompanied at all Bathhouses and No entry into Pavilions unless special approved events. There will be only 1 warning and then could be asked to leave the park. No refunds will be issued if removed from the park for failure to follow rules and regulations. If your child is caught destroying ANY property you will be responsible for the full cost of repairs. Your family will not be permitted to return to enjoy our park going forward.

No underage drinking.

ALL children up to 12 years old MUST WEAR A HELMET while riding bikes and scooters while visiting our park. All children must follow the safety rules by stopping and looking at all crossroads. If they do not follow riding rules, Management and Security have the right to suspend their riding time for up to the rest of their stay.

Our team maintains the right to enforce campground rules. Please contact the General Managers to address any concerns.

Hours • Curfew

Quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 8:00 am, 7 days a week. Please respect your neighbors by speaking quietly and Turning OFF radios at this time.

All playgrounds close at sunset.

No golf carts out after 11:00 pm.

No bicycles, rollerblading, or skateboarding after dusk.

No Hoverboards, Electric Bikes, Electric Scooters, One Wheelers, or Big Wheels allowed in Park. Electric Bikes are ONLY allowed to leave your site or area to be leaving the park to go ride on trails or out on Georgetown Rd and then to return back to your park. No other riding anywhere else in the park, please.

General Policies

Burn only dry seasoned wood.

Do not litter on the road or in the campground.

In the event of electrical problems, please contact the office. Do not tamper with site boxes.

Do not trespass on property bordering the campground.

No fireworks, firearms, air guns, paintball guns, knives, weapons of any style or bow and arrows are permitted to be displayed or discharged. All Play guns must have Orange Caps on end to be permitted.

Terms of Service: By signing/making a reservation/staying at Vacationland, you agree that Vacationland has permission to photograph you, any members of your family and any visitors to your site for any purpose related to the marketing of the campground in any medium. You waive any right to compensation should your photograph or likeness be used in this manner.
You understand these guidelines of this campground and agree to abide by them. You understand the campground reserves the right to remove, without refund, any camper or visitor violating these guidelines.

Cars • Golf Carts • Bikes • Mopeds • Scooters

No washing of trailer or cars.

Electric golf carts only. Must be operated by a licensed driver, license must be readily available (learners permit not acceptable). Mounted headlights required for riding after sunset. Max golf cart occupancy is 5 persons. NEVER have children on laps or standing on back of carts or hanging anywhere outside of a Golf Cart. Nothing to be towed or pulled behind Golf Carts at any time.

Motorcycles and electric bikes permitted only as transportation in and out of park.

Not permitted in the park: Mini-bikes, 3-wheelers, ATVs, Gas-powered scooters, Pocket rockets, Mini mopeds, Mini bikes, hoverboards, Electric Bikes, Electric Scooters, Big Wheels, One Wheelers.

Battery operated razor scooters and skateboards are permitted.

Electric bikes are not permitted in the campground. May ride out of the park going and coming from Lake trails.

All vehicles must remain at site while camping unless entering or exiting the park. No driving Cars, Trucks, etc. to buildings within the park. Golf Carts allowed to travel throughout the park.

A fee will be charged if rules are broken.

Pets

All pets must be kept on a short leash and never left unattended. Any Aggressive size or type of pet will not be allowed at any time. Any pets that continue to bark and interrupt others will be asked to be attended one time and then may be asked to be removed from our park. We want all of our guests to enjoy all the time they can here with us. DO NOT leave your pets on dog runners unattended and on leashes without your supervision. There will be 1 warning given.

Pets must be kept quiet at all times

Health regulations prohibit pets in campground buildings, including bathhouses & the camp store/front office.

Be considerate of others and clean up after your pets.

A leash free zone is available at the Bark Park.

Please pick up behind your pet, including in the dog park.
